I mean, we’ve only been going out for like a month.

A: 나 오늘 밤에 시간이 비어. 뭐 하고 싶어?
B: 너 데이트는 어떻게 된 거야?
A: 아, 킴의 개, 버스터가 아프다고 해서 집에서 돌봐줘야 한다고 해서 취소됐어.
그래서 뭐 할래?
B: 그녀 도와준다고 제안하지 않았니?
A: 그녀 집에 가는 걸 말하는 거야?
B: 네.
A: 그걸 내가 물어볼 수는 있겠지,
하지만 그건 부적절하지 않을까?
한 달 밖에 안 만났는데.
B: 지금 바로 문자해봐. 물어봐.
어떻게 그렇게 바보같아? 물어봐야지.

- someone / something was fundamental to : 누가 혹은 무엇이 결정적인 기여(역할)을 했다
- do (some / a lot of / all of the) legwork : 발품팔다
- lay the groundwork for : 무엇의 밑거름이 되다
- we can't ignore : 무엇을 무시할 수 없다(없는 척 할 수 없다)
- group effort : (team work의 또 다른 표현)
- come through : (책임이나 의무나 약속한 일)을 잘 해내다
ex) Everyone came through. 
ex) Everyone came through with great team work.
- (give) credit where credit is due : 잘한 부분에 대해서 인정할 것은 인정해주자
- the lion's share (of something) : 무엇의 가장 큰 부분
ex) She received the lion's share of the credit.
ex) He did the lion's share of the work.
