1.

speculate 추측 / 짐작하다
Don't speculate 추측하지마 (너무 강한표현)
=> You don't want to speculate or you might not want to speculate
You don't wanna go there 그 얘기는 꺼내고 싶지 않을걸?
It doesnt do any good to speculate 추측/짐작해서 좋을 거 없잖아
care to join me? 같이갈래?
go for a stroll 산책하다
care to elaborate? 조금 더 설명해줄래? (care to 때문에 헷갈릴 수 있다)
care to explain?
care to chip in? 돈을 다같이 보태서 무언가를 할 때
Do you follow any sports?
Things are picking up 상황이 나아졌어 / 잘 풀리고 있어 (비즈니스 상황에서 정말 많이 쓰임)
It's about time 그럴때도 있지

I have to cut down on expenses until things pick up again 상황이 나아질 때 까지 지출을 줄여야해
I come bearing gifts 선물 가져왔어 (병문안 가서도 쓸 수 있음)

 isn't an e-mail just a little too cold
이메일은 좀 차갑지 않아?
That was uncalled for.
그건 필요 없는 발언이었다.
I gotta say honesty would be the best policy.
솔직이 가장 좋은 정책이라고 말하고 싶어.
we're not meant to be.
우리는 서로 잘 맞지 않는 것 같아.
things will work from then. I'll improvise.
그 이후로는 일이 잘 풀릴 거야. 적당히 대처할께.

I'm kind of one-women show. 나는 모든 걸 혼자 처리할 수 있는 여자에요.
They go all out for the show. 그들은 쇼를 위해 최선을 다해요.
I'm able to be civil with unfamiliar people.
I need to be more clearly intentional in choosing it.

내가 수업을 듣고 학교로 돌아왔을 때, 만약 네가 공부하지 않았다면, 넌 정말 큰 곤경에 처하게 될거야.

겨우 제 시간에 도착했어.

- There are many kinds of chicken in Korea.
한국에는 많은 종류의 치킨이 있다.

- I’ve already seen the movie twice.
난 이미 벌써 그 영화를 두번이나 봤어.

기술에 능하지 않아.

걔 결혼 했어?

- It’s soft but there’s a downside to it.
푹신푹신한데 단점이 있어요.
downside: 불리한(덜 긍정적인)면

- It would be nice not to have to work.
일 안해도 되면 좋을거야.

(1) write off 실패 혹은 없었던 일로 여겨지는 무언가 
Yesterday was a completely write-off as i had meetings back to back. 

(2) go over 검토하다
I'd like to go over my contract with HR.

(3) foster 위탁하여 기르다, 임시보호하다
We fostered a dog and will look after him until he gets a permanent home.

(4) disregard 그냥 신경을 안쓰는 것
He disregarded a stop sign and caused an accident.

(5) turn out 지루하다 판단해서 무시하는것
I find myself turning out during the meeting.

(6) shrug off 대수롭지 않게 여기는
Even though i can see some obnoxious comments, i just shrug them off.

(7) Top priority 최우선순위
You'll be my top priority.

(8) I can't resist these. 이건 못참지!
I can't resist cat! 

(9) I wasn't born yesterday. 나 바보아냐.
